Thailands’s Kayak, Dive and Snorkel Expedition

Using a liveaboard, the Thailand Master, as our ‘base camp’, we kayak, snorkel and dive the South Andaman Sea, east of Phuket Island and west of Krabi province in southern Thailand. The area is renowned for white-sandy beaches, verdant forests and stunning limestone karst towers plunging into turquoise waters. Kayaking allows us to glide over shallow reefs and pull up on picturesque beaches for a swim and a snorkel, followed by a jungle trek to lookouts for amazing views; a perfect way to explore the islands. With tropical temperatures and warm seas, we spend as much time in the water as paddling on it!

Scuba divers will be rewarded with varied corals and abundant sea life including lion fish, wrasse, angelfish, rays, black tip reef shark and turtles. We intend to explore islands and bays not frequented by tourist boats and discover a serene and less visited part of this paradise. After each day’s explorations we return to the liveaboard for delicious meals, very comfortable cabins and relaxation.

Thailand Master is a 37 metre traditional Indonesian sailing yacht comfortably accommodating up to 18 guests. On board there are three double/twin cabins, two fixed twin cabins and two quad cabins with four single beds. All cabins have an ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. Other cabin amenities include liquid soap, towels, bathrobes and lockable safety boxes. Hairdryers are not supplied. The outdoor dining area at the stern of Thailand Master is covered and shaded for guests to take in the breath-taking views of the islands. There is a spacious dive deck with plenty of storage space for all dive gear, an indoor dining area and a library which stocks reference books to identify sea life, plus plenty of novels to grab for some downtime, plus movies and boardgames.
